Peace or war? It makes you wonder... Because of the huge anniversary of our 200 years since the liberation from the Turks, I painted 3 sailing ships. The first, which is leading, has no flag insignia. The other 2 have. One Greek and the other Turkish. But the question is who leads them and in which direction?
Fabriano Artistico aquarelle paper (rough) 640 grams, size 50x70 cm, stretched with 2 layers of diluted gesso on each side. The painting is mixed media. Watercolors, gouache, soft dry pastels. Fixed with windsor and newton fixative and secured with 2 light coats of water based varnish! The painting was done months ago, but I changed a few little things, so you'll see the double signature where I added the #0 next to it which basically means it's the very first painting, the original. An impressive painting that, as I said, makes you wonder...
The frame is wooden without glass. Overall size with frame about 54cm x 74cm
